Section 01

Our Commitment

LADMA Traffic Control is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, whatever their ability or the technology they use.

Accessibility is ongoing work. We keep improving the website as we add and update pages, and we welcome reports of anything that gets in your way.

Section 02

The Standard We Work Toward

Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We do not claim that every page fully meets that standard today. Where we find a problem, we work to fix it.

Section 03

What We Do

When we build and update pages, we work to:

  • Use clear headings and plain language so pages are easy to follow
  • Keep enough contrast between text and its background
  • Make menus, links, and buttons reachable with a keyboard
  • Give links and buttons names that say what they do
  • Provide text descriptions for meaningful images
  • Make pages work on phones, tablets, and computers, and when text is enlarged
  • Make phone numbers and email addresses easy to tap or select
Section 04

Known Limitations

Some parts of this website may not be fully accessible yet. These include:

  • Forms from other providers. Some quote, scheduling, and contact forms are provided by a third-party form service, and we do not control every part of how they work.
  • Other third-party content. Embedded maps, videos, and links to social media sites are controlled by those companies.
  • Documents. Some PDF files and drawings, such as traffic control plans, may not work well with screen readers.
  • Older pages and images. Some older pages and photos may be missing text descriptions or have other issues we have not yet corrected.

If any of these stop you from getting what you need, contact us and we will provide the information another way.

Section 05

Client Portal

Our client portal, where customers request and track traffic control services, is a separate website at app.ladmatrafficcontrol.com. It has its own accessibility statement.

You never need the portal or an online form to work with us. You can request a quote or schedule service by phone or email.

Section 07

Other Ways to Reach Us

Everything this website offers is also available directly from our team:

  • Quotes and scheduling. Call (240) 861-5050 and we will take your request by phone.
  • Urgent traffic control. Our dispatch line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the same number.
  • Information in another format. If you need something from this website in a different format, such as plain text by email or read to you by phone, ask and we will provide it.
Section 08

Updates to This Statement

We review this statement when the website changes in ways that affect accessibility, and we update the date at the top of the page when we revise it.
