Customer-Driven Procurement: LADMA's Commitment to Community Giving

At LADMA Traffic Control, our mission extends beyond the roadways. We are a company deeply committed to making a tangible difference, actively collaborating with the communities we serve. Our goal is to ensure opportunities for growth, equity, and safety for all residents—especially those most vulnerable.

Through our comprehensive Community Giving Program, we proudly support charitable organizations and initiatives that significantly enhance safety, quality of life, self-sufficiency, and equity in the very areas where our dedicated team members live and work.

Our culture is built on a foundation of ownership, trust, and collaboration—principles we apply not only with our valued clients but also with our cherished communities. We strive to make meaningful contributions that directly address each community’s unique priorities, guaranteeing the greatest possible impact.

Team-Driven Giving in 2024

At LADMA, our Community Giving Program is inherently collaborative, relying on invaluable input from our team members. This direct engagement helps us precisely identify where our efforts can make the biggest difference. Team members are strongly encouraged to nominate non-profits that align with the most pressing needs of their local communities.

In 2024, LADMA proudly supported 12 organizations championed by our team members throughout the region, reflecting a diverse range of impactful causes.

Key Areas of Charitable Giving

LADMA strategically focuses its community giving on four core areas that are vital for advancing public safety, promoting resilience, and strengthening communities:

  • Safe Roads: Supporting innovative programs and essential research dedicated to reducing roadway fatalities and educating the public on critical traffic safety practices, ensuring everyone gets home safely.
  • Veterans and First Responders: Giving back to those who bravely protect others by supporting crucial wellness programs for veterans and first responders, and providing vital assistance to families of those lost in the line of duty.
  • Education: Investing in the future by creating impactful educational opportunities that inspire youth to become safety-minded, engaged, and self-reliant leaders of tomorrow.
  • Community Development and Basic Needs: Working to increase access to essential medical care, stable housing, and empowering economic opportunities to significantly improve the overall quality of life for entire communities.

Putting Community Giving into Action

In 2024, our commitment to community giving translated into direct support for several impactful organizations:

  • One prime example was our donation to the National Traffic Safety Institute, a nomination proudly put forward by a LADMA team member. This esteemed organization provides crucial research and training on driver behavior and traffic systems, with a core focus on reducing accidents and improving roadway safety for all.
  • Another significant recipient of LADMA’s support was The Haven, an organization based right here in Baltimore, Maryland. The Haven provides safe housing, vital counseling, and comprehensive support for victims of domestic violence. In 2023 alone, The Haven served over 10,000 individuals, tirelessly advocating for lasting social change within our community.
  • Additionally, LADMA proudly supported the Heroes Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping families of fallen first responders and veterans by providing mortgage-free homes and other essential resources. We also collaborated with local schools to fundraise for programs benefiting these heroic groups, reflecting our deep dedication to honoring their profound service and sacrifices.

We're proud to have supported organizations like The House of Ruth – Washington, D.C. and So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.), which address critical needs within our local communities.

“When people feel safe and secure—whether on the road or in their daily lives—they are empowered to focus on their families, education, and careers. Our goal is to strengthen these areas, ultimately creating more resilient and thriving communities.”

— Dennis Marcia - Operations Manager
